All the tabs within our Live Cast feature were buggy when using Internet Explorer due to a cache-control bug in IE. We have successfully fixed it and now our IE users can enjoy the Live Cast features as well…
Live Telecast - Shows a live view of all activity all over the site. The page automatically loads every 10 seconds and has links to the story page.
Live Search - Shows a live view of all searches being conducted on the site. This displays what people are looking for on the site. The page updates as soon as a search is conducted on the site.
Live News - We fetch ‘news related to India’ from various sources and display it in a chronological order on this page. This page is highly dynamic and changes every 5 seconds. This page has a ‘Submit’ link that allows you to submit a news item directly to our database.
Recent News (24 hrs) - Same as Live news but this displays all India related news we caught in the last 24 hrs. This page has a ‘Submit’ link as well.
Please note that you don’t need to refresh the Live Pages. These pages automatically fetch and display data every 10 seconds.
