IndianPad went down a couple of hours ago. Once we got the site up we realized that the database was extremely slow. We had to take the site down an hour ago to fix that.
Everything seems to be up and humming now and we sincerely apologize for the down-time.
Due to the recent ban on viewing blogspot sites from India we are routing all blogspot links through a proxy server. That should allow our users to view and blog without any restrictions.
Let us know if you find any bugs or errors in the proxy setup.

The root cause of slowdown were big videos and image files that are attached to the stories. However, they add so much character to the posts that removing them wasn’t an option.

Some users have sent us feedback complaining that some pages of the site are quite slow to load. We have isolated the problem to large images and videos that are embedded within the stories.
We are currently working on some solutions to avoid this. We apologize for the slow speed while we resolve this…
