We recently had a discussion at this post where the majority of users recommended that we keep the 18+ content but move it from the front page of the site.
However, we were hesitant to hide/censor any content submitted by the users. So here is the compromise -
- All registered users may choose to view the 18+ section by specifying it on their profiles.
- All other users will never see any adult content on the site unless they have a direct link (see next point).
- Direct links to 18+ stories will still work. For e.g. If you have a direct link to a 18+ story then you will bypass all limitations. This is done to preserve validity of all old links.
Please note that this is still being tested so if you find a loophole please contact us asap.
How to change your Profile?
Login with your userid and go to your profile page.
Once on your profile page. Choose the appropriate option under the ‘Block Adult Content’ drop down.
