I am glad to report that most users on this site have now entered Google AdSense ID’s in their profiles and their stories are using this code to make them money. However, it has become clear over the last couple of weeks that the earnings are still quite mediocre.
In light of this, we have implemented ‘Section Targeting’ today so that more relevant ads appear on your posts and hopefully more visitors click on them.
We are targeting 3 sections for AdSense ads - Title, Description and Comments. If your story does not have a adequate title or description then you may not get relevant ads. This will take up to 2 weeks to become fully effective and we hope that you update or optimize your stories to make use of this.
