Finance Minister P Chidambaram on Tuesday expressed hope that the ongoing financial crisis will come to an end soon. He further said that India, which is experiencing the spillover effect of the global meltdown, will bounce back next year.

Speaking at the India Economic Summit in New Delhi, Chidambaram said that it is not the first time that industrial economies have gone into a recession, but added that the current crisis threatens to be stronger.
