The prosecution has taken a strong stand against actor Shiney Ahuja’s bail plea, saying he can ‘tamper with the evidence against him’‘ if he is released from jail.

Ahuja (36) is charged with raping his 20-year-old maid at on June 14. He is currently in judicial custody at the Arthur Road jail.The police said the maid’s complaint against Ahuja was not an ‘afterthought’‘ and she had approached the cops immediately after the incident. Their reply to his bail plea said Ahuja might be a talented actor, but it did not mean he could not have committed the crime.
