India Blue faced a humiliating defeat against India Red in the Final of the Challenger Trophy at Nagpur. Put into bat first, India Blue were skittled out for a paltry 84 with their innings lasting only 27.1 overs. India Red got the target in the 21st over having lost three wickets to Harbhajan Singh. The Final of the tournament was made into a one-sided contest due to the India Red fast bowlers – Sudeep Tyagi (6-0-20-3) and Munaf Patel (6-3-21-4).
