The fun bloggerEkalavya, a Brand Manager at Contests2win.com is a fun blogger. “My first taste of blogging was when I read trip-logs of bikers on blogs. I then handled an official blog at my first company PaGaLGuY.com. The second company where I worked at – which was a Web 2.0 consulting company – we had a blog where we used to publish our thoughts and views about advertising and technology. I seriously gave a thought to blogging when I realised that it was pretty easy to make money from blogs!” he says.
Ekalavya says that he blogs on football, cricket, biking, advertising, technology, among many others and has made a decent amount of money. His blog during the Twenty20 World Cup fetched him around Rs 60,000 in just 10 days. “I blog for about an hour a day on an average and at least 2 hours a day, I spend on reading other blogs,” he says. He concludes, “One thing one needs to remember that it is easier to monetise topics than monetise content. Great articles – but all on different topics might not work for a single blog.”

He then suggested me to write a blog of my own! “And hence, I begun,” says Juneja.
