Taslima Nasreen [Images], who had been shifted to a safe house by the Central government, on Tuesday said she now felt “better and secure”.

“Now I feel better. I feel secure. I feel more at ease,” she said from a location which she refused to disclose. The controversial writer, who faced death threats from fundamentalists in Bangladesh for her “anti-Islamic” writings, declined to reveal her whereabouts.
