The Pune police have finally submitted a proposal to the ministry of home affairs (MHA) in New Delhi to expedite the deportation of Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) agent Syed Mohammed Desai to Pakistan. He has been under the supervision of the Sahakarnagar police ever since he was released from the Yerwada central prison on October 27.

Desai has filed an affidavit before chief judicial magistrate Yashwant Chaware through his lawyer Vidhyadhar Koshe saying that the proposal, which is pending before the MHA, has not reached the Pakistan embassy at New Delhi.
