“I love my country. I love the people of my country. I request the court to please show mercy and leniency on me,” said actor Sanjay Dutt, two days after he was held guilty in the 1993 bomb blasts case under the Arms Act for possession of an AK-56 rifle and a 9mm pistol. The actor — who faces a minimum sentence of five years and a maximum of 10 — was pleading for a lenient sentence on Thursday.

That is probably the worst line of defense for him. I am sure his family has enough money to survive without him…

A family need love and care for each other not only money. Ask a daughter how she will feel if her father will go to jail… Ask a wife how she will feel if her husband will go to jail… MONEY will be last thing in their mind. He is the man of that family. He is strongest piller. For them he is most important not money.

That is true for all families even Osamas. I don’t think he has committed a crime but if he has then he should be punished like everybody else…

I believe court understand only practical language than emotional. If he is showing love to his family and showing dependency of his family on him – two different things for court, probably second one get positive thought from court. Just my opinion.
