NEW DELHI: Arjun Singh on Saturday bowed to the Congress high command and got a royal ignore.

It was a visibly discomforting moment for the HRD minister and the self-styled loyalist as party supremo Sonia Gandhi credited PM Manmohan Singh for his “personal imprint” on expanding the educational infrastructure in the country and the Centre’s special focus on minority districts — blanking out the HRD czar and the party’s secular face seated a chair away at the Jamia Hamdard convocation.
