IndianPad Blog - More Control over your Personal Ads

We have over a 100 ads already in the personal ads section and we hope that you are able to use this feature to your advantage. We have now added another option that will help you to focus your ads to a specific set of users.

Currently, you can choose whether you wish to display these ads in the 18+ category or not. In future, we may even allow you to choose categories or keywords you wish to target.

Log in to your profile page -> Go to the Ads tab and you will see a drop-down for all new ads (Please leave a comment if you wish to change targeting of older ads). Please note that we reserve the right to move your ads to the 18+ category only if we feel the ad or the site it targets is too risque.

Focus your ads

Rules
All ads need to display the name of the target site or have some words that make it clear that its an ad. We have rejected some images that display scantily clad women without any description on them as they seem to suggest that those images are part of this site…

@indianpad – can we have a control like if i have 3 ads runnin and i wanna set their frequency like i wan “a” ad to show up 6 times outa 10, “b” – 3 times outa 10, and “c”- one time!

Sumthin like that! Is it possible?

@garam – Currently, we convert all submitted images to jpg to keep a consistent look and feel. We may add animated gif and other formats in the future.

@devil – We plan to add a host of new features in the coming weeks and that is one of them. However, currently we are focused on making this as easy as possible for everybody…

awesome feature…however one suggestion…wish there was a feature to rotate banners of of sites and show multiple banners…i m sure u can look into that as well….

having said that…rocking start!!!!

@fire – I think that feature is already there. devil asked it yesterday and was told that you can upload unlimited banners and the code will just rotate amongst all of them…

i think fire means multiple show of banners on every post no need to circulate just show all the banners on every post
