It is raining heavily across Mumbai and Thane, particularly in the catchment areas of the reservoirs that provide water to Mumbai. The rain has led to huge water-logging in low-lying areas of Andheri, Vile Parle, Goregaon, Bhandup, parts of Central Mumbai and Thane. Flights at Mumbai airport are also seeing a marginal delay of about 15 minutes, and trains on the Harbour and Central lines are running very slowly because of the water-logging.
