Meravideo recently reported that they are close to getting a funding of $1.5 million. Also it was recently exposed that their site is just a rip-off of a $300 off the shelf product. Is the funding justified for such a site?

The discussion at iLeher takes it one step further and in fact claims that it may after be NOT that ridiculous, that they are using an off the shelf product.
