Sony Bluetooth headphones: more music, less tug

There are cans and there are cans. And then, for the truly clumsy music fan who is always struggling with cable-doorknob interface, there are wireless cans. So let us all welcome Sony’s latest Bluetooth headphones. The DR-BT50 are perfect for cold snaps – all they are missing is fake fur trim – while their younger brother, the DR-BT21G, will give the wearer a less intimidating look. Another pic and full spec of both models after the jump.

Weighing 180 grams, the DR-BT50 will give you a lot of bass for your buck as it functions on 20 to 20,000Hz, and, fully charged, can go for up to 17 hours. There is a hands-free function and it supports the A2DP, AVRCP, HFP and HSP protocols.

Available in both black and white, the back-of-the-neck style DR-BT21G comes in at just 63 grams while still supporting the same sampling of Bluetooth protocols. Still no word on price or availability, but a little mystery can be a good thing. – Ad Dugdale
