We are making some changes based on this and other posts.First, anonymous voting is not a big problem as you need a large number of them to come on the first page and too many of them will certainly attract scrutiny from our bot. The bigger problem from our perspective is fake accounts!
Changes
- Users found forming groups or fake accounts to vote up their stories will be ‘banned’ without warning.
- Users posting adult stories in general sections will be ‘banned’ without warning.
- Anonymous votes now only carry 0.2 of karma. This means that you need over 350 anonymous votes for a story to be published.

users with fake account are pretty smart, they will probably vote for five or six other stories so they don’t look obvious.We need to go back to previous rule when only six votes were allowed in 30 seconds, 12 votes in 30 seconds encourages spam voting
Good Move!! Do the anonymous votes still make the story title bigger in the story cloud, I would love to see this go away as its a pain to the eye.
Can a small description be added showing this line when we hit view
*User Votes: **, Anonymous Votes: **, Story Karma: ****
that would really help in evaluating how the previous viewers treated the story

Can we please add the *User Votes: **, Anonymous Votes: **, Story Karma: **** to Adult section stories also, we can leave the users who voted for that stories. but atleast a little info of how story is doing will be really helpful
