I hate to say this, but have you taken a good look at the front page of IndianPad recently? Have you taken note of the quality of the stuff that you can view there?

I’d say that all the ‘concerned citizens’ gave up long ago.

I think there is a great hope!! If we post quality news from nytimes, washingtonpots, telegraph UK… and a the more news on Twitter… Than this could attract more users around the web.

looks like majority of us(including me ) are busy with other things and IP is left in the hands of spammers

I cannot let IP die away… moreover IP has taken away the disable User powers from mods else I was very strict earlier… we need that moderation power back and so also a pledge to post atleast 1 story a day… else IP will die out…

might be the lack or revenue generation fom IP has refrained the admins interests also…

I had nothing to say after chetanw’s comment…also as you know my online activity has been very restricted…but yes I am trying to get back to IP…lets see how it goes…:)

The other side of the story is that people are using IP as a launchpad to promote their personal blogs and earn from them.

There is no focus on the actual site itself or posting of quality content – the entire focus is on posting stuff to get eyeballs on the blog page.

promoting personal blogs in not wrong but promoting only them is wrong…

I will personally make sure to submit 2 good stories from now on every day from exclusive sites on the internet…

“Pushpinderbagga” i am truely speaking that i like the desihotmasala’s contents over indianpad but the contents posted from the okidda is just like a spam one… as its content are not its own and linked to other sites.. Please don’t mind but what i realized i spoke out!!

I havent been able to post stories from a variety of sources and I am sorry for that. I have been really busy with some personal stuff lately. I am not even a super mod now. I will work hard soon to contribute to this site.

IP Admins got it wrong long time back..

I find indianpad.com a good place to highlight quality websites. Unfortunately, we do have to accept that some people tend to take disadvantages of it.

when the admin doesn’t give a f*** why are we even bothered? It was dead a looooong time back and lost interest and don’t want to waste my time over it.

I find some of these comments very interesting.

Look at this story that’s about to hit the front page and look at the list of people who have voted it up. The story is about an actress in a Pink Frock: http://www.indianpad.com/pics/1426273/nayantara-in-pink-frock-photos/

Now, I don’t mean to offend the fans of the actress, but when such stories are making it to the front page, you don’t need to be an Einstein to realize that IP is in big trouble. There are numerous such examples all over the site (the front page is an excellent place to start looking, actually). I can only guess about the underlying motive of the people who vote on such stories.

If you take the time, you will note that some of the same people who voted on this story (and others like it) have submitted comments about ‘improving the quality of stories’ on IP in this post. Kudos to @indianboy for having the courage to state the obvious truth.

We have had our share of help from IP and now its the time to pay it back… if admins are not paying attention who cares… we are… except chetan here… every one has pimped their blogs and got help from IP so lets pay it back and consider posting 2-3 quality stories a day and clearing spam on Indianpad… what say ?

All the blogspot submissions should be checked for spam when they are published..
