um I-Pad community I need your comments on this one.

anyways, i do agree that we need to have a way to shout stories to others. btw i don’t think indianpad is a digg clone. These days, people seem to be calling any bookmarking site a “digg clone”.

yes amiable haha and kaalkaal hell no, IndianPad is the biggest clone of Digg ever. They have copied each and every little thing. From comment section, submission, the votes, karma thing, and categories, and the look. I must say they worked their asses off in making I-Pad

well in that way all social networking sites are copies of each other…wordpress is a copy of blogger, dailymotion is a copy of youtube and so on. Every site is the same…it’s the users and content that make it different and I truly believe that indianpad is different than digg.

You can leave a comment on your story if it’s really that good. But if it ain’t, I would vote down the comment.

amiable I meant copying in a good way. And when and where did I ever say Indianpad tastes like Digg, its not similar but its functions are similar. And devilworkshop hmmmm you really think so? Cause I know every submission I make is real top class according to me, which means every story of mine deserves a comment, and I just don’t wanna have to do that. Its better if I can shout or messege fellow I-Padders.

• Ability to rate and even block users to create your own custom IPad
• Recommended stories tab – This uses your voting history as well as how you rate other users to find stories that may interest you;
• Better chat mechanism – The chat will be embedded within the site itself so that its not a stand-alone feature

The reason your stories don’t get the votes is the content. It’s not you or the gimmicks that count. Also, you can look at your past submissions and see what works with users here.

For example, you have recently posted a lot of stories about the US Prez election. all of them have 2-3 votes each. You need to understand that users here (well, most of them) don’t really care about Palin and what she said or McCain and his campaign statements.

Also, the point of being on IP is to post good stories and see what others are posting. It seems to me that your objective has become: To get a high karma. That’s what is inherently wrong as per me.

no chetanw I don’t care for karma, but I like to know what am I doing wrong. i like getting credit for the posts I make. And chetanw I am well aware of what I-Pad likes and does not. I have posts regarding Iphone, just sitting there. I have a really cool pic which describes the difference of Male and female, and bunch more i cant remember right now.
