What CTR can you expect for paid ads on Indianpad?

I have been advertising on IndianPad for some time and would be interested in knowing the Click-through rate (CTR) other advertisers here are getting.

My ads have been averaging about 5-6% which is excellent in my opinion. I would like to know if others are getting similar or better results.

Any suggestions would also be welcome…

Tips from my experience

  • Image quality matters! We only received a 0.5% CTR when we started as we were using simple text ads.
  • One thing we have noticed is that new images get a very high CTR and this goes down over time. IndianPad has no limit on the number of images under a campaign and users should have at least 3-4 images under every campaign.
  • Initial CTR is about 8% and this goes down to 3% after a week if you run only a single image.
  • CTR averages about 6% if you rotate multiple images.

@masala – CTR is usually a number that most sites would not want you to share as that can very quickly lead to resentment.

That said, a 6% average CTR is extremely high! As far as I know, 1-2% is the norm in most areas…

What you said is known as ad blindness ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banner_blindness ) the new images attract users initially and then they start ignoring it. You should try to upload as many images as possible and put them on rotation to prevent this.
