Akkineni fans shocked after hearing that ANR has blood cancer and there is only few more months to live when he is in seventies.
But ANR not only survived, but went on to act in hundred’s of films after that. ANR is now into his eighties but he is as healthy as anyone else.
ANR said that there was no truth that he was undergoing Blood Transfusion at regualar intervals. It was just a rumor. He only had undergone a bypass surgery in 70s and only then the blood was transfused, he said.
