Brigadier (retired) J.S. Jaswal, director of Punjab’s Sainik Welfare Directorate, was Wednesday booked on charges of criminal intimidation and molestation of a woman employee.
The case was registered by the Chandigarh police following a complaint lodged by the woman, widow of a decorated Armyman and clerk in the Sainik Welfare office.
The 35-year-old woman had last week accused Jaswal of sexual harassment.
