Politicians Hijacked India's Twenty20 World Cup Champions Celebration

In the airport, there were more flags of political parties than our National flag.

On the roads, you can see the posters of political big guns with the players and message.

Once again on the stage at Wankhede Stadium, political big guns and BCCI officers are sitting on first row and Players are sitting on second row, you can’t even see properly any of the player.

Kapil Dev, captain of 1983 world cup is not invited and not even players apart from Dilip Vengsarkar (who is chief of selection committe).

Is it because Kapil is associated with ICL??

Shame on BCCI!!

Eventhough BCCI has launched IPL and Champions League, but they still have a long way to go.

BCCI lacks professionalism, can’t even host one function properly.

I don’t see any reason of not inviting our 1983 world cup winning team members. I think because some of the players like Kapil, Madan lal, Sandhu and Sandeep Patil are associated with ICL so they didn’t invite anyone.

The absence of Sachin,Sourav and Rahul also raises some question.

I totally agree. I am one the millions who really want to see ICL do good. Every single cricketing event in India is great until this political groups get in…

I think BCCI is the worse thing for Indian Cricket. Does sarad pawar even knows how to hold cricket bet?
