Maybe rather than raising votes to 7 for frontpage , indianpad should completely remove anonymous voting and keep track of which user is voting for what – something like what digg has started doing

Its very strange that blitzblog’s all stories are on frontpage … who has 100% strike rate here ? I think Mr Hafeez should now start his comment counter too

I think Mr Hafeez should acquire Indianpad if he wants to be number 1 story all the time.. Its easy to spoof ip and vote. I can write a script in 1/2 a day to do that.

Now I realise how This Story after repeated comments of dupe got 11 votes…

We have noticed this with certain other users as well. Sadly, the only around certain way around this is to stop anonymous voting.

We will monitor this for a couple of days and hope to have a solution one way or other…

I think the best way would be to give voting stats on user pages, and indeed disallow non-registered votes.

Also, introduce friends concept where you can clearly depict your relationships. Vote blocs are a feature of democracy, what is bad is vote-rigging

Incidentally, almost none of blitzblogs stories are Indian, and in fact most are straight rips of popular digg stories, methinks

Woh..it augurs good for ‘Indianpad’, (it is coming of age), when persons start indulging in tricks of this type….shows that it is getting popular.
