Despite media glare and public outrage, the Jessica Lall murder case seems stuck in a maze of judicial manipulations, exploiting lacunae and loopholes. A key witness Bina Ramani, who has unswervingly stood by her statement indicting the culprit has been arrested recently, in an attempt to put a spanner in the wheels of justice, yet again. Her efforts deserve commendation.
