After Virender Sehwag had laid a solid platform, Suresh Raina and skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni continued the momentum to score centuries and guide India to a massive 374-4 in their allotted 50 overs against a hapless Hong Kong here on Wednesday.
First, it was 127-run stand between the openers – Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir — and then another huge fourth-wicket stand of 166 between Dhoni and Raina that left Hong Kong looking for cover.
Sehwag and Gambhir toyed with the bowlers, dealing in only fours and sixes, with the former being in a devastating mood, after India opted to have some batting practice after winning the toss against the minnows.
