Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has said that if voted to power it would execute Afzal Guru, convicted in 2001 attack on the Parliament.

BJP’s chief ministerial candidate Vijay Kumar Malhotra said this while releasing the party’s election manifesto along with other leaders on Tuesday for the Delhi state assembly polls.

Malhotra blamed the state’s ruling Congress party for delaying the execution of Afzal Guru.
