The process being followed is fine, but it would be precise if the number of clicks is counted( From Unique IP address or some other factors like color depth,OS or browser).

@madhan – we do collect clicks and other information (actually Google Analytics does that for us) but we decided to use votes as the biggest factor while ranking because you may click on a story but not like it. But, if you vote for a story then we are sure that you liked it. Thanks!

I am bit confused about the karma category!!

can you please explain to me in detail coz my Karma has remained 10.0 ever since i registered & is neither increasin or decreasing!

This all sounds good except the Karma stuff which I believe does not hold much significance. Votes – that’s it should be the major criteria..

devil/abhijeet – karma is broken as of now and not being used to rank stories. We will fix it sometime today and post an update here…
